Some parishioners have enquired why the area adjacent to Main Road and known locally as the Slangs has been fenced off by the Parish Council.
The new fencing has replaced existing sets of posts which were damaged and no longer fit for purpose.
Any resident who wishes to access this area can still do so as the gates will
remain unlocked for the majority of the year.
The Parish Council is considering developing the Slangs as a managed
